b'LAND SALES AND LEASES2021Land Sales: 52 Acres By The Numbers Anticipated New Jobs: 230New & Renewed Building Leases: 230,387 SF Existing Jobs Supported: 256Land Sales2021 was a year of strong economic investment in Westmoreland County, as reflected by the sale of 52 acres in three WCIDC industrial parks.In February, Wyatt WC Properties LLC finalized its purchase of 19.92 acres in I-70 Industrial Park in South Huntingdon Township. Wyatt is building a 132,053 SF facility that will be the future home of its woodworking mill shop and exterior curtainwall manufacturing operation, which currently leases space in Monessen. By having a robust park system, Westmoreland County enabled Wyatt to keep its existing70 jobs in the county. The construction contractorwhich anticipates 10-percent annual workforce growth over the first five years at the new facilitybegan site-preparation work in late 2021. In December, WAB Associates LLC purchaseda 6.23-acre lot in Westmoreland Business &Research Park. The LLC represents New Jersey-based Weiss-Aug Group, which plans to build a 32,000 SF manufacturing facility on the Washington Township lot. Construction willbegin by fall of 2022. Plans call for the buildingto be expanded to 65,000 SF as business grows. In October, Al. Neyer, a leader in commercial real estate development and design-build, purchased 25.896 acres at our newest industrial park, Commerce Crossing at Westmoreland. The developer has begun work to build a 250,000 SF Class A distribution center that it will market as Commerce Crossing Business Center. Site preparation began shortly after the purchase, and the project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022. Al. Neyer also has an option agreement to purchase a 28-acre adjacent lot in the Sewickley Township industrial park. 4'
